Rosie Burrows

I was fortunate to work on the world premiere of The Colby Sisters of Pennsylvania, at the Tricycle Theatre London, for 4 weeks leading up to the press night.

I was assisting freelance Costume Supervisor Natasha Ward and Designer Richard Kent.  My duties as the costume intern included familiarisation with set and costume design, sourcing costumes and fabrics, assisting with actors' fittings with dressmakers, making alterations to costumes, and assisting during dress rehearsals, the press night, and the premiere itself. I was given a lot of responsibility and voice during my work placement, which gave me a sense of value within the production team.
